ERP solution

Which companies is an ERP suitable for?

For SMEs with around ten or more employees who want to handle orders, purchasing, warehouse or production in a structured way. The solution grows with you, from one site to several companies.

How long does an implementation take?

That depends on the scope. An implementation with the core modules usually takes three to six months. You will receive a concrete schedule in the analysis.

Can we transfer our existing data?

Yes. We transfer customers, suppliers, items and open items from your previous systems or Excel lists, checked and cleaned up.

Can the ERP be adapted to our processes?

Yes. We add custom fields, rules and processes in an update-safe way, so your customisations are retained after a new release.

Where does the system run?

Either in a Swiss data centre or on your own infrastructure. On request, we take care of operation, backups and updates entirely.

What happens after go-live?

We remain your point of contact: with support, training, updates and further development when new requirements arise.

Do small teams need a CRM too?

Yes, especially where a few people look after many customers, a CRM provides an overview. The solution can start lean and be expanded later.

How long does the implementation take?

A CRM with the core features is usually ready in six to twelve weeks. You will receive the exact schedule after the analysis.

Can we transfer existing contacts?

Yes. We transfer contacts, companies and histories from your previous lists, mailboxes or systems, cleaned up and without duplicates.

Can the CRM be connected to our ERP?

Yes. Customer data, orders and invoice status are exchanged automatically between CRM and ERP.

Can the CRM be used on the go?

Yes. Your team can access customers, appointments and tasks from anywhere via browser and app.

How is our customer data protected?

With clear roles and permissions. On request, we run the solution in a Swiss data centre.

Business Intelligence

Which data sources can be connected?

In principle, all common ones: ERP, CRM, financial accounting, web shop, databases and Excel files. We decide together which sources make sense.

How up to date are the figures?

Depending on your needs, the data is updated several times a day, hourly or almost in real time.

Do we need our own data warehouse for this?

Not necessarily. With only a few sources, a lean data model is often enough. For larger volumes of data we recommend a central data warehouse. We will advise you.

Can employees create their own analyses?

Yes. Alongside ready-made dashboards, your employees can create their own analyses, based on verified data.

Can the dashboards be used on mobile devices?

Yes. Dashboards and reports can be accessed in the browser, on tablets and on smartphones.

Who may see which figures?

Roles and permissions control this: each person sees exactly the data they need for their job.

Do you also operate existing systems?

Yes. After an assessment, we take over existing environments and transfer them into stable, monitored operation.

Can our applications run in the cloud?

Yes, on request, we operate your applications securely in a Swiss data centre, maintained and with automated backups.

How do I reach support?

Via the Service Desk: servicedesk@elvadata.ch or +41 31 910 37 05, as well as via the customer portal.

Do you also handle hardware procurement?

Yes. We advise on, procure, configure and install workstations, servers and network components and take care of maintenance and replacement.

Where is our data stored?

In a Swiss data centre or, if run locally, on your own infrastructure. You decide.

Can we start with individual services?

Yes. Our services are modular. Many clients start with backup or monitoring and expand later.

Where are the servers located?

In a data centre in Switzerland that we use together with our data centre partner. Your data does not leave Switzerland.

How is our data backed up?

Automatically and at the frequency we agree together. Restores are tested regularly.

What happens in the event of an outage?

There are defined procedures for emergencies. Monitoring alerts us and we restore operation as quickly as possible.

Can existing servers be taken over?

Yes. We analyse your current environment and move systems and data to the data centre in a planned way.

Who has access to our data?

Only authorised persons. Access is governed and secured by clear concepts.

Can we expand the environment later?

Yes. Storage, performance and additional systems can be added flexibly as your needs grow.

Can we also buy individual devices from you?

Yes. Whether a single notebook or the equipment for an entire site. We advise and deliver at any scale.

Are the devices delivered ready to use?

Yes. On request, we set up the operating system, applications, security settings and access in advance and install the devices on site.

What happens if a device is faulty?

Contact the Service Desk. We take care of diagnosis, warranty handling and, if necessary, a replacement device.

Do you keep track of our devices?

Yes. We keep an overview of your device inventory with age, warranty and condition and plan replacements in good time.

Do you also take care of network and Wi-Fi?

Yes. We plan, install and maintain switches, firewalls and Wi-Fi, across several sites too.

What happens to old devices?

We ensure secure data deletion and proper disposal or reuse.

What is a SOC?

A Security Operations Center is a control room for IT security. Experts monitor around the clock what is happening in your IT, detect attacks and trigger countermeasures.

Is a SOC worthwhile for SMEs too?

Yes. SMEs in particular rarely have their own security experts available around the clock. With a SOC as a service you get this protection without building your own team.

Does a SOC replace the firewall and antivirus?

No. Firewall and antivirus remain important. The SOC complements them and detects attacks that get past these protective measures.

What happens if an attack occurs at night?

The SOC detects the activity, assesses it and informs the agreed contacts. Elvadata supports you with the next steps.

Which systems are monitored?

We agree this with you, typically workstations, servers, network and cloud services such as Microsoft 365.

Which partner does elvadata work with?

Elvadata is an Arctic Wolf Premium Partner. The Arctic Wolf Security Operations Center monitors around the clock, and elvadata is your personal point of contact.
